Joseph L. Mikus, MD
Dr. Mikus is a board-certified otolaryngologist since 1997, and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology. He graduated from the Pennsylvania State University School of Medicine and received his training in Otolaryngology at Wake Forest University. His specialty interests include pediatric otolaryngology and thyroid/parathyroid surgery. Dr. Mikus has faithfully served the Winchester community for 25 years, the entirety of his medical career. His commitment to private practice allows for a more traditional, personalized care.
Cara Housden, PA-C
Cara obtained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from James Madison University in 2010. She is certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants. Cara joined Shenandoah Head and Neck Specialists in February 2021. Prior to joining our practice she worked in Orthopedics and Urgent Care.
